Past and Present
This new exciting find is the Mormor Blue Dinnerware Collection from
Normann Copenhagen. It is very Scandinavian in design, clean and
minimal with its simple blue on white pattern. However, we love how
its modernity echoes a piece of the past, bringing memories of a
traditional kitchen through its print of a familiar dishcloth pattern.
It also brings to mind images of paper napkins and plates during a
picnic in the park.
The design was inspired by the atmosphere of a kitchen, a central part
of a home where family and friends come together, making memories and
forming a sense of togetherness through the passing of time.
We love everything this set has to offer, from its modern form and
function, to its underlying inspiration.
