Nearly every Sunday stroll through Soho reveals another hidden gem, and this week was no different. With our coffee and paper in hand, we stumbled upon the Design House Stockholm, a company of extraordinary range and beauty, which has effectively changed the way people approach their living and working spaces.

Their aim is to collaborate imaginitively with dozens of independent designers,up-and-coming talents, and established, iconic artists to create products that beautify one’s space and improve their lifestyle. Their collection ranges from the conceptual to to the pragmatic, from the decoratively maximalist to the utterly . All of their products are reasonably priced, fabulously designed, and available online as well as in a handful of retail locations around the world.

Here are a few of our favorites

Work Lamp
This lamp is a hybrid of your the dependable, industrial stand-by that lights up your garage workspace, and the beautifully luminous model that adornes dining room.  It’s a hard working, sturdy creation that has been painted gold and silver for artistic flair and aesthetic appeal.  The minds behind Design House Stockholm set out with the mission to create “one lamp to rule them all,” and that is precisely the result.

Arrow
When in the horizontal position this hanger can support a hefty load, but when closed it reveals three hooks on which to hang an assortment of items.  This graphic icon is a perfect solution for a contemporary hanger.

Tablo
Simultaneously decorative and useful, the Magnus Löfgren’s Tablo Tray Table has a high rim to prevent spills. It comes in two heights, and can be used as either a side table or as a set of tables in front of a sofa. Comes in four fabulous colors, complete with a removable tray. Priced at $170.00, you can’t go wrong.
