Christian Liagre
Christian Liagre is one of the foremost contemporary interior designers in the world, whose portfolio includes private homes, hotel interiors and restaurants around the globe. His style is clean and simplistic, without sacrificing absolute luxury. In St. Barths, Christian designed the room interiors of Le Sereno hotel, which we feel are the perfect showcase of his work.
We are in love with his use substantial materials such as walnut and bronze against the clean, linens/white upholstery and wall paint to create the serene look through high-contrast. The simple lines and lack of patterns allow for a spa-like feeling without the need for cool tone blues/greens that we typically seen used as accent colors to create such a specific look. In fact, the only color in these rooms are in the interior of the closets – using his signature color red.
