Spring Time: Thomas Paul

Despite the occassional plug, Nina and I don’t usually like to focus on our own businesses.  However, our careers are in deed the backbone of the information we provide you. So without rambling too much, this week I will be spending some time showing you some new accessories via Burlock.

It’s Spring! And it’s time to unfold some new products for the warm seasons. We’re really excited to freshen up the showroom for our art event, Electric Windows, in May (listed in Conde Nast Traveller’s May issue!).  Thomas Paul is a new line of pillows we’re bringing in. We love how the fact that they are a great blend of contemporary patterns with traditional fabrics like silk and linen.  While he is not the first to do this, most of his designs can suit both, a traditional or modern setting without skipping a beat.  Above are two linen pillows in Kiwi and Dove (two new colors) and one silk bolster.

The bolster features Russian nesting dolls and I am absolutely in love with them.  They will be fostered by two Heywood Wakefield dining chairs that I plan to recover until they find a more permanent, loving home. To adorn your home with these same pillows you can go to Gracious Home located at 1992 Broadway, NYC; 212 231 7800; in Brooklyn check out Living on Smith located at 289 Smith Street, 718 222 8546; or on Long Island go to White + One located at 309 Main Street, Port Washington, NY, 516 767 2698. Love how you live.
