We love reinventing the old, and when it comes to reupholstering, we have the best source in town. Capri Upholstery has a small workshop located on Staten Island, and will reupholster anything you might have, from the complicated to the simple. They are fast, reliable and will pick up/drop off anywhere in the city. While you do need to choose and order your own fabric, they will let you know based on the rough measurements of the piece how many yards are required – so simple! They can also make extra pillows for the sofa you just had reupholstered or can restore/refinish any wood piece. That West Elm desk you thought was so great 3 years ago? Bring it back to life with a new stain or have them make a custom-fitted tablecloth to cover up the nicks and scratches, just like I did at my place.
